Carneros Life

Located at the crossroads of the Napa and Sonoma Valleys in Northern California, Carneros (click here for a map)  is known for its natural beauty, its wildlife, its commitment to community and to the preservation of its environment. Carneros is a working landscape, sharing its resources with farms, vineyards, wildlife, marshes, wetlands and ecological habitats.

The name “Carneros” (which means “the Ram” in Spanish), is derived from the days when the region was home to sheepherders, dairy farms, fruit orchards and hay fields. This deep agricultural heritage remains today.
